A little care keeps the gold glowing.
- Last on, first off. Put your jewellery on after perfume, lotion and hairspray, and take it off before you wash your hands, shower, swim or work out.
- Keep it dry. Water, sweat and chlorine are what wear plating fastest.
- Store it alone. Keep each piece in its own pouch or a lined box so chains don't tangle and stones don't scratch.
- Clean it gently. Wipe with a soft, dry cloth. No jewellery dips, toothpaste or polishing cloths with abrasives.
- Sleep without it. Fine chains can catch and stretch overnight.
